A silent musing
I am the man in God,
and I seek the God in man,
Yet, no man is God,
Even as God is in all.
Every man has a beginning
and each meets his end,
but the One that is never born
has been there forever.
As in all grain there is husk,
and in all fire there is smoke,
In all men there is evil
but also a Light inside.
In each soul, the weights of Alpha and Beta grow,
Though good and bad are not written in stone,
Alpha times One plus Beta times Zero
Is the sum of life, to each his own.

why is beta times zero there?
but agree that to each his own!
Solitary reaper,
Good question. At first glance, it is obvious that beta times zero is there for the rhyme, but in truth, it reflects my interpretation and belief in karma, especially that doing good for its own sake is much more important than trying not to do bad, or doing good in order to compensate for bad karma.
